This peaceful watercolor painting was inspired by an early morning drive at Valles Calderas in the summer of 2022. Our 1 year old son was up most of the night while we were camping, and we decided to take a super early morning drive to get him to sleep. We groggily got in the truck and started driving. That mornign we ended up seeing some of the most beautiful views of Valles Calderas I've ever seen. This painting was inspired by some of the photos I took!
